kim navarro is a multidisciplinary artist born, raised, and based in san diego, california.

she received her BA in painting and printmaking from san diego state university in 2014, and expanded her practice into ceramics during the pandemic.

her work is grounded in a reverence for tactile processes, and finds inspiration from organic forms, symbolic iconography, and folk crafts. she hopes to bring a sense of playfulness into the everyday, whether through ceramics, painting, or works on paper.

she lives near historic balboa park with her husband and senior kitty, cecil.
